Stash and pop prompts

Stash/pop lets you park prompt drafts and recover them later, so you can branch your thinking without losing text.

What stash/pop does

Stash saves your current input draft and clears the box. Pop restores the most recent stashed draft, and can swap with current input to keep both paths alive.

  • Great for comparing two prompt approaches quickly.
  • Useful when you need to park a long thought while handling an urgent quick ask.
  • Helps keep your active input short and focused.

Shortcuts

  • Stash: Cmd/Ctrl + D
  • Pop: Cmd/Ctrl + F

Prompt branching pattern

Stash your long strategic prompt, run a short tactical prompt, then pop the strategic one back when ready.
